Pinacol 4-Hydroxyphenyl Boronate was synthesised in 28.2% overall yield from 4-bromophenol by protection
with t-butyldimethylsilyl chloride,Grignard reaction and reaction with B(OCH3)3 to afford dimethyl
t-butyldimethylsilyloxyphenyl boronate followed by ester exchange with pinacol and then deprotection.
